Treyarch heeft vandaag de tweede patch voor de PC versie van Call of Duty: World at War gepubliceerd. De langverwachte patch verhelpt enkele fouten uit de game en bevat tevens de 'nieuwe' map 'Makin Day'. Het bestand is ongeveer 500MB groot. Klik hier om patch 1.2 (eigen Nederlandse mirror) te downloaden en kijk hieronder voor meer informatie over de patch. Zo voorkomt de patch enkele problemen in de multiplayer, zullen screenshots niet langer meer over elkaar heen saven, is de ’Accept Game Invite’ onder de F10-knop geplaatst, wordt er voortaan daadwerkelijk geregistreerd of een gamer geraakt is, zullen namen van gamers niet meer in verschillende kleuren in beeld komen, worden gameservers direct weer verbonden naar de Master Server als deze is uitgevallen en is Power Ranking niet meer mogelijk. Klik hier voor een volledig overzicht. Daarnaast bevat de patch een 'nieuwe' map voor de multiplayer van World at War. 'Making Day' is - zoals de naam al verklapt - de map 'Makin' maar dan in daglicht. Een screenshot van de nieuwe map is onder het artikel te bewonderen (klik op de afbeelding voor een vergroting). De tweede patch voor Call of Duty: World at War liet lang op zich wachten. Het duurde maar liefst meer dan drie maanden voordat de patch werd uitgebracht. De eerste patch werd al voor de release in Nederland uitgebracht. Het lange uitblijven van de patch zorgde voor veel onrust en commotie in de community. Het leidde zelfs tot een heuse staking waarin enkele server admins hun server op slot gooide en pas weer opende wanneer er een patch zou verschijnen. UPDATE: Enkele uurtjes na het verschijnen van de patch worden de eerste kinderziektes gemeld. Vista gebruikers kunnen na het installeren van de patch problemen ondervinden met de audio. Treyarch zocht naar een oplossing en vond die hier.

heb net gespeeld en vind het nu al een ramp....(kan ook aan de server liggen)
heb lag van hier tot tokio en als ik uit het spel stap dan gaat het menu knetteren als een op hol geslagen geigerteller....
er staan ook teksten dat het geluid niet werkt als je vista hebt (ingame) maar aangezien ik XP heb heb ik alles gehoord.....

nadat de boel was vastgelopen moest ik herstarten en toen is de boel weer goed gekomen (ook al zie ik ingame nog vel mensen klagen)
