Met het singleplayer gedeelte gaat het naar eigen zeggen wat minder. De singleplayer gedeelte van GFM2 is eigenlijk ons probleemkindje , aldus de ontwikkelaar. Al onze pogingen om enkele extra SP scripters te vinden en te werven is mislukt in het verleden, dus is de vooruitgang sloom, hoewel we nog steeds aan de SP werken.’’
Hoewel de SP nog net niet links wordt gelegd, breidt het arsenaal aan maps zich uit. Zo zal Amfreville ook van de partij zijn in GFM2: een oude bekend van GFM United Offensive.
 
Een andere vertrouwde map, maar dit keer van de singleplayer van Call of Duty 2 is Newvillers of St. Louet, hoe het vernoemt is in GFM2. De map is omgezet naar de multiplayer en biedt hoge kwaliteit volgens de ontwikkelaars.
 
Een totale nieuw map zal Saumer worden. Saumer is een kleine stad in Frankrijk met een indrukwekkend kasteel, wat natuurlijk de bespelen is in de map.
 
Naast de maps worden er momenteel ook nieuwe scripts en gametypes getest. Gametype Air Assault (AA), wat vergeleken kan worden als Search & Destroy, is een daarvan. Voordat je belangrijke punten van de vijand moet vernietigen zal je eerst naar een willekeurige dropplaats moeten gaan om spullen voor de explosie op te halen.
