De Amerikaanse site Gametrailers.com heeft alvast uitgekeken naar de meest belovende games dit jaar. Ook Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 kwam aan het bod. De game van Infinity Ward moet naar verwachting dit jaar nog uitkomen. ''We weten dat het dit jaar uitkomt. We weten dat het fantastisch wordt,'' aldus Gametrailers.com. Ehm jawel, hij staat op nummer 2
Alleen het is een beetje raar dat ze de titel " Call of Duty 5 " geven, maargoed. |

Toch, dit is enkel pure speculatie... niemand is 100% zeker dat de game dit jaar uitkomt (maar zij/wij gaan er wel allemaal van uit dat het weldegelijk dit jaar zal uitgebracht worden, gezien het feit dat ze om het jaar een Call of Duty titel plannen).
Maar zoals ik al enkele malen heb gezegd: er gingen ook geruchten, die verspreid zijn door een AV CO, dat ze 2009 links lieten liggen qua 'Call of Duty titel' en dat ze vanaf 2010 de 'one year strategy' gingen voortzetten.
De reden was ook zodat Infinity Ward extra lang de tijd had om de nieuwste, omkomende, telg uit de series te perfectioneren... |

Wanneer COD:MW II uitkomt maakt me eigenlijk niet zoveel uit, tuurlijk moet het niet a la Blizzard (Starcraft 2) 5 jaar langer gaan duren, maar als het ietsjes langer(paar maanden) duurt om de game te perfectioneren, dan vindt ik het best.
Ze hebben zichzelf nu een tijdsdruk opgelegt, wat volgens mij niet ten goede gaat aan de kwaliteit van de COD serie. |

| Nogmaals, dit is pure speculatie en 'vooruitblikken' zonder enige echte pure informatie. Dit is ook niet bedoelt om footage te tonen van de opkomende Call of Duty game. Ik verwacht zelfs geen footage... enkel rond de periode van de E3 (en dan nog... er gaan ook speculaties om pas in 2010 een nieuwe Call of Duty uit te brengen). |

CoD WAW is niet CoD 5. Hij heet call of duty world at war. Die daarvoor was call of duty 4 modern warfare. Dus de volgende word COD 5.
Je had tog ook call of duty "big red one"??? Dat was ook niet bijv. call of duty 2 "big red one". Er zijn meer als 5 spellen in de COD serie!
Dus er is niks raars aan.... |
