Het Nederlandse gamemagazine Power Unlimited heeft een review van Call of Duty: World at War voor de Xbox360 gepubliceerd. De journalist JJ gaf aan voor de lancering van de game behoorlijk sceptisch te zijn over de kwaliteit van de game, maar was achteraf toch onder de indruk. ''Treyarch kan trots zijn op wat ze hebben bereikt,'' aldus JJ. Lees hier de gehele review. De game werd bestempeld met een 8,7. ''Hulde voor Treyarch. Zoveel druk en dan gewoon een dikke game afleveren. Ondanks een aantal minpunten gaat dit een van de grootste hits van deze drukke periode worden. En terecht.'' Aldus de eindconclusie van JJ. |

Ik had deze review al gelezen in het vorige nummer (het januari nummer dacht ik), en ik moet zeggen dat JJ een eerlijke en rechtvaardige review heeft geschreven. Persoonlijk (omdat ik ook de Call of Duty community en dergelijke volg) had er meer bij geschreven (en dieper opin gegaan).
Doch, dit is een mooie review. JJ was de juiste persoon om deze game te reviewen vind ik. Alhoewel ik er ook van overtuigd ben dat Jan ook een mooie review had kunnen schrijven over World at War. Het probleem is echter dat Jan niet echt een 'FPS' persoon is, in tegenstelling tot JJ (die meer thuis is in de FPS/actie genres).
Er staat ook een bericht op de site over de 'Call of Duty World at War patch' die er eind deze maand/begin februari aankomt. Misschien had je dat bericht eraan kunnen weven zodat het een 'geheel' vormt over de berichtgeving van Power Unlimited over Call of Duty World at War? |
