| BASHandSlash in gesprek met Treyarch: patch 1.2 komt in januari |

Onlangs hield de bekende website BASHandSlash.com een webcast waarin Treyarchs community manager Josh Olin - ook wel bekend als JD2020 - aan het woord gelaten werd. In het anderhalf uur durende gesprek kwamen allerlei onderwerpen ter sprake, zoals het verloop van de PC beta, de release van World at War en natuurlijk de aankomende patch 1.2. Duidelijk is dat we dit laatste niet meer dit jaar kunnen verwachten, maar de patch zal waarschijnlijk pas in januari vrijgegeven worden. De patch zal veel fixes bevatten. 
Andere deelnemers aan het gesprek waren PST*Joker van mycallofduty.com , Rudedog van FPSadmin en Garetjax van codtv.tv. Bovendien was de live chatroom open voor het publiek en zodoende was er gelegenheid om allerlei vragen te stellen.

Het is zooooo zonde dat de vernieuwingen zo laat komen, dit doet mensen het spel verlaten..
De games van Infinity zijn altijd op en top geweest op hele kleine foutjes na.. Hier bij cod 5 zitten ontzettende bugs, alsof stagiaires deze game hebben opgebouwd voor hun afstudeerproject...

| Treyarch kan gewoon moeilijk PC games maken, dat hoor je in de webcast ook. Ze hebben veel te ruim gepland wat dat betreft, geen rekening houdend met de complexiteit van dit platform. |

Het is dom van Treyarch om geen patch uit te brengen ook al zijn het maar kleine.
Ik heb al heel wat CoD spelen gespeeld zoals CoD, CoD 2, CoD 4 en nu ook CoD: WaW maar dit is toch wel echt een afknapper van Treyarch door alle fouten.
Want de graphics vind ik te gek. |

jammer dat pas in januari (zeggen ze) de patch uitkomt, begin zolangzamerhand flink te balen van die bugs en dan met name degeen die voorkomt als je van de server afgaat om bijvoorbeeld tussen de mappen ff een wapenklas te veranderen.
heb het nu al 4!! keer meegemaakt dat de hele zooi crasht en ik weer van rank 1 kan beginnen, en een hele zooi keren dat ik alles weer kwijt ben van de laatste gespeelde map.
niet dat er veel uitdagin in zit om weer zo hoog te komen maar als je bedenkt dat je met die prestige ook weer opnieuw moet beginnen met niks dan kom je al heel gauw op heel veel keren dat je van rang 1 begint.
had liever gehad dat ze daar tenminste een kleine patch voor uitbrachten. dan verlies je tenminste niet zoveel spelers, ik speel nu in ieder geval meer cod4 dan 5.

Ik ben nu bij level 64, als ik 65 heb behaalt dan ga ik de prestigemode spelen en alle challenges compleet maken.
Dus voor mij is het nog lang niet afgelopen met codwaw.

Jij snapt het duidelijk niet. Hoe meer patches, hoe beter de support is. We praten hier niet over de stock game, die is nooit volmaakt. CoD4 werd netjes geholpen door patches, waarin totaal nog minder fixes in zaten dan in de eerste twee patches van CoD:WW!

okay.......
1 : er is nog steeds nog maar 1 patch uitgebracht voor zover ik weet
2 : ga ik zonet COD5 opstarten ben ik weer alles kwijt (rang 65 dit keer)
ik heb er nu echt genoeg van en totdat die patch er is raak ik de knop cod5 niet meer aan (nu is het oorlog)
weg met 5 en leve 4... (die support was tenminste nog redelijk.

Idd de patches van CoD 4 kwamen tenminste snel uitgebracht en 2 van de 7 patches waren download content ik wed dat treyarch zo op de 10 patches zit met alle bugs maar dan zijn we volgens mij 4 jaar verder zo traag als dit gaat |

| jongens jullie begrijpen iets volgens mij niet helemaal. Treyarch was van plan alle bugs / glitches te fixen. het probleem ligt niet aan hun maar aan activision. jullie zeggen wel treyarch dit en treyarch dat, maar activision die het spel uitgeeft had effe bedacht het eerder uit te geven dan gepland was. door activision hebben de makers (treyarch) minder tijd gekregen om alles te verhelpen. |

Serieus, ik had van cod5 eigenlijk wel wat meer verwacht hoor... Het zit VOL met allemaal bugs en glitches enz... En nu hebben we ook het probleem van de Fast rank servers op de PC waarop je 10,000 EXP per kill krijgt (ik heb geen flauw idee hoe ze dat nu nog gaan oplossen....). Ik weet niet hoe het zit met dat het Activision z'n schuld is, want het ging met Infinity wel goed met Cod4, het lijkt me ook dat Treyarch het dan had moeten zeggen als ze het niet af hadden kunnen krijgen.... Ik ben best wel tereurgesteld hoor, had wel wat meer verwacht ervan. Trouwens (misschien is dat al algemeen bekent, maar ik weet het niet) wat was er mis met Infinity? Cod4 was een DROOM van een game.... GEWELDIG, en dan komt Treyarch weer en gaat alles fout. De nieuwe patch is trouwens ook nog niet uit en het is al einde januari. Ik hoop maar voor ze dat de 1.2 patch heeel erg goed is want anders is het gedaan met Cod5 en Treyarch. En dan ga ik gewoon Grid of anders Bioshock 2 (die komt binnenkort uit) kopen. En trouwens ik heb geen last van de bug dat je rank gereset wordt op Cod5, wel op Cod4 (misschien was dat omdat ik zat te kloten met de serial). En een tip voor mensen die last hebben van glitchers; kijk op Youtube en glitch gewoon net zo hard mee. 
En dat Prestige... Het is nogal saai om 10x dezelfde challenges te doen enz.... Maar, dat co-op is wel een ontzettend vette optie, ze hebben er dan ook alle tijd voor gehad maarja.
Conslusie:
Tot nu toe is Cod4 10x beter.
Ahh fijn om hier even m'n hart te luchten . |
