Doordat Treyarch de Mod Tools heeft vrijgegeven, kan de community nu zelf mappen en modificaties ontwikkelen. Vooral custom mappen voor de Nazi Zombie mode zijn erg in trek: vandaag trakteren we jullie op drie nieuwe Zombie mappen: Anzio, Zombie Woods en FRUmansion.   
Klik op de plaatjes om te vergroten. Downloadlinks: De instructies kunnen voor elke map verschillen, we raden je daarom aan om de bijgevoegde readme goed te lezen. Installeer ook eerst patch 1.1. Hier volgen de globale instructies: Installatie - Pak het archief van de map uit

Het kan zijn dat bepaalde mappen 'Verborgen' zijn, stel daarom bij Mapopties in dat je Verborgen bestanden wilt weergeven. Als de map 'mods' nog niet bestaat, maak deze dan aan. - Verplaats de uitgepakte map met daarin de bestanden naar de map 'mods'.
- Start de Singleplayer en kies in het Main Menu de optie Mods. Lanceer de juiste mod.
Singleplayer: - Lanceer eerst de mod zoals boven beschreven staat.
- Ga naar het Main Menu, open de console door op '~' te drukken en typ /map {mapnaam}. Bijvoorbeeld: /map nazi_zombie_anzio
- Druk op Enter en je kunt spelen!
Coop: - Lanceer eerst de mod zoals boven beschreven staat.
- Klik op 'Cooperative' en kies 'Host LAN' of 'Host Online'
- Kies de map uit het lijsje en druk op 'OK'.
- Start de game en je kunt spelen!
Nogmaals: raadpleeg de door de auteur gemaakte readme die bijgevoegd is voor specifiekere instructies!

Bij mij werkt het als ik de hele map in de folder mods moet plaatsen maar als ik andere files ergens anders moet plaatsen lukt het niet.

Even een kleine review
Subway:
(was er al een tijdje voor deze 3) vindi k niet zo leuk omdat je alleen wat kan rondlopen op de benedenverdieping.En daar wat rotsen en deuren openen zodat je aan wapens kan+de omgeving is niet zo griezelig.En als je daar naar boven gaat is het heel makkelijk om te overleven(met 4 spelers)Als je maar 1 rotsblok wegneemt teminste en de magic box is vlakbij onder de kerstboom.
Woods:
Is net hetzelfde als Subway(de look niet de mapstructuur).Niet zo speciaal je kan nergens naar boven,en er zijn maar 2 grote plekken en een paar kleine plekjes.Maar wat ik wel leuk vidnd is dat je de flametrowher kan kopen voor 3000 credits.
Anzio:
is iets helemaal anders echt lekker zombieachtig.En de map is zeer uitgebreid;je kan in de kerk en vanaf de kerk kan je naar een kelder waar ook een magic box staat.En deze map heeft vooral een betere look precies een map van Treyarch.(daarmee bedoel ik graphics want bij Subway en Woods vliegen er geen roetdeeltjes rond en is er geen rook.)ze zouden beter een houten huisje gezet hebben en dat daar dan de zombies op afstormen.
FRUmansion:
Dit is de beste map een super goede look net zoals anzio.En vooral heel griezelig met bloed een mes op tafel een bijl in de muur.En dan vooral die sfeer van het huis zelf net zoals in een griezelfilm.En dan die bomen en die mist er rond.En je kan dan ook naar boven waar het lekker donker is.En op de benden verdieping is er zelfs een schijtpot !
Probeer ze allemaal zeker eens uit het is de moeite waard !

| Oké, het is dus niet mogelijk om op deze maps te spelen wanneer je gebruik maakt van een no-cd patch. Je kan ze dus alleen maar spelen wanneer je de DVD erin hebt. |
