Verscheidene websites zoals Gametrailers.com, IGN.com en GameSpy hebben reviews gepubliceerd van Call of Duty World at War. De websites gaven de shooter, die gisteren uitkwam in de VS, de volgende beoordelingen: Over het algemeen vonden de sites de verhaallijn van de singleplayer niet zo om over naar huis te schrijven, maar andere dingen zoals de Co-op met de Death Cards en de goede multiplayer werd geprezen. Ook de vormgeving van het spel kreeg een hoog cijfer.

ga hem vandaag ff oppikken maar ben benieuwd of t wat is.. De AI schijnt heel slecht te zijn van de game..wat me ook al was opgevallen in eerder gereleaste trailers. Maar de coop mode is wel heel vet lijkt me. Lekker met wat clanleden een level spelen op de hoogste moeilijkheids graad. En daarna proberen zombies af te houden..
