Hoewel Call of Duty: World at Wat officieel pas vrijdag in de winkels ligt, is de shooter in sommige winkels al te vinden. Ben jij zo'n vroege vogel en heb je het spel al? Dan raden wij je aan om even de eerste patch te installeren en Punkbuster te updaten. Dan ben je helemaal klaar voor het gevecht! Patch 1.1 voor Call of Duty World at War
De eerste patch voor de PC-versie is namelijk al vrijgegeven. De patch bevat allerlei fixes voor de multiplayer. Klik hier om de patch 1.1 alvast te downloaden en bekijk hieronder de lijst met wijzigingen (in het Engels). - Mods are now enabled in Co-op, Single Player, and Multiplayer.
- Players will now be notified when a new patch is available.
- Improvements for SLI support.
- G_Spawn: no free entities crash has been fixed.
- Server no longer runs out of script variables.
- License key is no longer required to run a Dedicated Server.
- A Dedicated Server can now be started from the Command Line via Remote Desktop Connection.
- Various fixes in Server Browser.
- Players will no longer see multiple friend invites from the same friends.
- When a player calls in a recon plane in a Hardcore match, the HUD will properly appear.
- Clan Tags will now display in game where appropriate.
- Map holes fixed
- Spawn improvements and weapon balancing
Punkbuster updates
Om het online gedeelte te beschermen tegen hackers is er de anti-cheat software Punkbuster. Het is verstandig om die af en toe te updaten. Hieronder kun je lezen hoe dat moet. - Download de Punkbuster Setup hier.
- Voer het bestand uit. Je krijgt uiteindelijk een scherm te zien, waar je moet kiezen voor Add a Game. Kies nu Call of Duty World at War en zorg ervoor dat de installatiemap klopt.
- Kies nu Check for Updates
