De eerste versie van de Promod voor World at War zal over een week verschijnen. Dat liet de website Bashandslash.com onlangs weten. Promod is een populaire mod voor het verbeteren van het competatieve gedeelte van de multiplayer en het wordt vaak gebruikt voor wars en competities. Eerder leek het erop dat er geen Promod zou komen omdat ontwikkelaar Ryan niet meer wilde meedoen met de ontwikkeling, maar hij is van gedachte veranderd.

Beta is afgelopen, Je kan niet meer online.
Je kan wel met een commando in de console gewoon mappen laden.

dit vind ik nou heel erg jammer, strax krijg je dus allemaal mensen die alleen met ''promode'' een PCW willen spelen. terwijl die de hele fun uit de game haalt, de hele multieplayer is dan gewoon letterlijk en figuurlijk ''naakt''  kan je even goed gewoon cod2 blijven spelen....toch?
