Onlangs zijn er beelden verschenen van twee nieuwe multiplayers uit Call of Duty: World at War. Gamespy.com en TeamXbox.com kregen de kans om de nieuwe maps 'Cliffside' en 'Seelow' te spelen. Naast de bekende maps Castle, Makin en Roundhouse - afkomstig uit de beta - zijn er nu ook beelden en informatie van de maps 'Cliffside' en 'Seelow'. Cliffside:
Cliffside is een map met jungleachtige taferelen waar de Amerikaanse mariniers het opnemen tegen het Japanse Keizerlijke leger. Dankzij de aanwezige open velden is het een map waar de snipers zich zeker thuis zullen voelen. In de map vind men in grote rotsen verstopte bunkers - met een groot gezichtsveld - waarin een goede verdediging kan worden gevonden. Bekijk hier de drietal filmpjes van de map. Seelow:
Seelow is een van de grootste maps in de game waarin het Russische Rode leger het opnemen tegen de Duitse Wehrmacht. De map is absoluut niet symmetrisch waardoor gamemodes als Capture the Flag nog interessanter worden. Naast de grote vlaktes waar grote tankgevechten niet te vermijden zijn, zijn er ook nauwe doorgangen en verstopplekken waar een hinderlaag makkelijk is op te zetten. Door de aanwezige gebouwen (meerdere verdiepingen) en grote vlaktes kunnen ook de snipers goed uit de voeten. Bekijk hier de drietal filmpjes van de map. In totaal bestaat de multiplayer uit 13 mappen, waarvan enkele vertaald uit de singleplayer. Op het moment zijn er over vijf mappen informatie en beelden bekend. |

filmpjes bekeken en ondanks dat het de Xbox was ziet het er wel goed uit.... begin nu eindelijk toch wel beetje benieuwd te raken.
die grote map maakt het idiaal voor grotere groepen om met sniper te spelen... dat kan nog leuk worden als alles goed gaat.
