De PC beta van Call of Duty: World at War, die gisteren vrijgegeven werd, hebben veel mensen nog niet werkend kunnen krijgen in verband met technische problemen. Zo zouden er vooral veel problemen zijn met DirectX. Zorg er daarom voor dat je de laatste versie van DirectX geinstalleerd hebt. DirectX 9 kun je o.a. downloaden vanaf de officiele Microsoft website.

ik heb alles ik spel op start even dat het 30 seconden zwart bleef.. kwou de hoop al op geven maar toen begon het..
het is egt kwaai lauw spel alleen wapens de kogels zijn vrijsnel op gezien cod4 tog wel paar lekkere magazijnen had, je kan niet 2 mensen te gelijk van afstand neer knallen temiste ben nou bij level 5 en ik heb nog geen favo wapens gevonden.. ja kwam de mp40 tegen |

mmm beta geinstalleerd enz ik start het op 10 min later bij het hoofdmenu ik join een game duurt het ong 10 min vooordat hij de map laadt (bij cod4 was dat binne 10 sec lol) daarna krijg ik waiting for players minuutje of 2. dan zwart beeld terug naar het hoofdmenu met foutmelding die ik niet begrijp.
en sta daarna ipv van online offline. als ik dan weer probeer servers zeoken zegt hij dat ik op online moet staan(dunno hoe ik dat voor mekaar krijg) en wat ik er aan de hand is uberhaupt.
draai op windows vista 64bit misschien dat een probleem? |

Mensen die DLL errors hebben en/of 'Unhandeled Exception' hebben, volg deze stappen:
1) Download & installeer de nieuwste drivers. En inderdaad, installeer ze en vergeet zeker niet je computer hierna opnieuw op te starten!
2) Download & installeer de nieuwste 'Direct X'
3) Kijk even op het 'Callofduty.com' forum en zoek voor de DLL oplossing. Als ik me niet vergis moet je gewoon de bestandsnaam die in de 'error' staat opzoeken op google en daar ook downloaden. Hij moet in de 'windows/system32 folder komen te staan.
4) Heb je je Call of Duty World at War beta wel correct geinstalleerd?
Problemen met het 'Zwate Scherm' (Of zoals hij al snel de bijnaam heeft gekregen; 'Black Screen of Death'): Je hebt veel kans dat je Grafische kaart niet voldoet aan de eisen. Ze zijn immers ietwat 'opgeschroeft' sinds Call of Duty 4 ([i]Je grafische kaart moet Shaders 3.0 ondersteunen!!!

Maar heb die DX versie gedownload en het spel werkt.
Hoewel ik het vreemd vind over de 9e versie ik heb DX 10, waarom werkte het eerst niet is onduidelijk voor mij!!!!???
