| German Front Mod update |

Wie dacht dat German Front Mod helemaal dood was, heeft het hartstikke fout. Sterker nog: ze hebben groot nieuws over het nieuwe aankomende multiplayer gedeelte voor Call of Duty 2 en een release van de befaamde Mini-GFM² zal ook niet lang meer op zich laten wachten. Laat alleen een missende host het roet nog in het eten kunnen gooien.
De aankomende GFM²-MP zal een Fullversion zijn (geen tientallen .iwd files meer in je folder) en bevat vele nieuwe features. Onder die features vinden we niet alleen nieuwe maps, maar ook drie aantal nieuwe gametypes:
Domination
Een oude bekende van Call of Duty: United Offensive. Vijf vlaggen standaard verspreidt in het spel. Het team dat als eerste alle vlaggen weet te veroveren en ook in bezit weet te houden is de winnaar.
 
Het tweede gametype Demolition zal bij de meeste bekend zal staan als een verbuiging van het gelijknamige gametype Search and Destroy. Het doel is twee objecten in een map te vernietigen. Alleen één speler zal beschikking hebben over TNT, en alleen deze speler zal het doel kunnen voltooien. Het derde, en geheel nieuw gametype, is Air Assault. Ook wel beter bekend als een andere vorm van Demolition. Vliegtuigen droppen bommen, en aan jou te taak deze te verzamelen voordat de vijand dit doet
Behalve enkele geïmplanteerde Call of Duty 2 singleplayer maps (Cauquigny, Amfreville, Merderet River, St.Lo) en enkele maps van de eerder German Front Mod zal ook nieuwe maps zijn entree maken. Waaronder Atlantikwall en Hill 107 (Kreta-missie)
 
De aankomende MP-release bevat ook een gloednieuwe WFM- mode . Deze GFM-addon brengt meer realisme in GFM, door onder andere features als bloed en het realistisch herladen van wapens.
