Call of Duty: World at War behoort volgens de organisatie van de Games Convention in Leipzig niet tot de beste games van de beurs. De organisatie kiest traditiegetrouw elk jaar per platform de beste game. Hoewel de aankomende nieuwe Call of Duty game veel te zien en te spelen was op de beurs, ging de voorkeur uit naar andere games.
Spore was volgens de jury de beste PC-game. Daarnaast vielen Mirror’s Edge (Xbox360), Little Big Planet (Playstation 3), Skate It (Wii), Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (DS) en Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (mobiele telefoon) ook in de prijzen. |
